Project Title: Co-Developing the Blueprint for Quality Powerchair Sport Programming
David Urquhart has been appointed full-time head coach of the 9I制作厂免费 men's hockey team.
A 2018 inductee to the 9I制作厂免费 Sports Hall of Fame, Urquhart has spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach of the San Diego Gulls, an American Hockey League affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks. During that span, he helped guide the team to a 92-60-17 record in regular season play and three playoff berths.

On behalf of the members of 9I制作厂免费 Faculty of Education, we mourn the tragic loss of 215 Indigenous children who were found in a mass grave at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops, British Columbia. Today, 9I制作厂免费 lowers its flags in recognition of this tragedy, and we at the Faculty echo the sentiments of the 9I制作厂免费 Provost. As our academics, staff, students, and alumni grieve together, we also stand together in support of our Indigenous community members.

Kinesiology students will craft your fitness routine using your existing at-home equipment and household items.
As part of their internship, these students (supervised by a staff kinesiologist) will guide you through a one-hour workout twice a week for ten weeks (cost: $60 flat fee), to improve your strength, flexibility and overall physical health.

These three students are being awarded fellowships to support their research projects outlined below:
Established in 2009 by Vincent and Sabina Tassone along with friends and family, in memory of their son Adriano Tassone, to help Faculty of Education students in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education who have completed U1 and/or U2听gain practical and research experience in Kinesiology听through an internship award.
1. March 5, 2021, Kaila Bonnell, Emilie Michalovic, and Dr. Shane Sweet published their study entitled "" on the Disability and Health Journal. This qualitative study investigated the relative accessibility of physical activity from the perspective of individuals with physical disabilities.
