Desautels alumna and vice president of RBC RH&N Kathy Fazel (BCom鈥91) has received the Inspiration-Andr茅e-Corriveau Award from the Association des femmes en finance du Qu茅bec.

The graduating class of 2020 is facing an uphill battle as they prepare their move into a job market shaken by COVID-19. Despite this, Desautels graduating student Yuliya Novosad (BCom鈥20) is staying positive and devising her game plan, with support options available from the Desautels Soutar Career Centre and 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 Career Planning Service (CAPS).

The first week of May marks the start of the GCPA program for a new incoming cohort of 48 students. Joining the cohort are 37 graduates from 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 very own Bachelor of Commerce graduates, seven Concordia graduates, and four from other Canadian universities. The cohort is comprised of 25 female students and 23 male students.
An additional 53 students will return to the program after completing eight months of work experience. They are entering their last semester in preparation for the National Common Final Exam, which they will write in September 2020.

Updated daily, the new COVID QC website provides detailed information about the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in each Montreal neighbourhood, and throughout the province of Quebec.

Professor Maxime Cohen and Desautels student Matthieu Reed (BCom鈥20), in collaboration with Columbia Business School Professor Daniel Guetta, have created a case study entitled "Modern Retail Analytics: Data Visualization Using Tableau".

Investment leader CFA Montr茅al has awarded two scholarships to Desautels students Rakan Lamy (BCom鈥20) and Xinyan Wang (MMF鈥20) for their high academic achievement and engagement in the investment community.

Four 9I制作厂免费 students took home second place at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) Global Case Competition, the largest case competition in the world, over the weekend.
BCom students Ariane Dusablon, Raphael Roel, Anne Sophie Levee, and Quentin Amaudry represented 9I制作厂免费 in the case competition, which invited students to solve a real-life business challenge faced by Novo Nordisk, the second largest insulin producer worldwide.
