Richard Despatie听(BCom鈥�16) has been named to the National Honour Roll of the Common Final Exam (CFE). He is among the top-three writers in Ontario of the Common Final Exam.
Written in September, the CFE is a national three-day evaluation that assesses competencies including essential knowledge, professional judgment, ethics, and the ability to communicate.听

He gave an overview of the credit investment process at CDPQ, a firm with over $286 billion under management. He also discussed the investment lifecycle and the importance of managing relationships beyond the exit phase of a deal.

Desautels Global Expert, Andy Nulman (BCom鈥�83), will be joining the Festival du rire de Montr茅al initiative as a consultant, bringing much of his experience as the co-founder of the Just for Laughs festival to bear.
The Festival du rire de Montr茅al aims to refresh the concept of comedy festivals, while also putting the creativity and talent of local comedians in the international spotlight.
Mr. Brown gave a guest lecture in Professor Myung-Soo Jo鈥檚 Management in a Global Context course. He gave the students insight into the working environment and culture at McKinsey.
The听Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management (MDIIM)听will appoint its first cohort of Integrated Management Student Fellows in the winter 2018 term. The program provides an opportunity to hone practical skills through paid experiential learning.

He broke down one of the major deals he worked on while he was with Onex Corporation, the acquisition of Husky Injection Molding Systems. He gave the students insight into the process and engaged in a back in forth discussion about the risk and opportunity with the ultimately very successful deal.
