The Faculty of Education welcomes back聽Dr. Julie C么t茅,聽newly appointed Director of the Sylvan Adams Sports Science Institute (SASSI)聽as she returns from her sabbatical (September 1). Dr. C么t茅 has been a key leader in the establishment of SASSI and has previously served as Interim Director for the Institute and will continue to steer its research and collaborations across different sectors.

Congratulations to philanthropist Sylvan Adams, the namesake of 9I制作厂免费's Sylvan Adams Sports Science Institute, who finished first in the Masters 65-69 age group of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships in Scotland on Friday. This event, open to all athletes, had more than 1,800 riders from 68 countries competing for one of 20 gold medals and rainbow jerseys. Then on Monday, Adams also finished first in his age bracket in the championship鈥檚 individual time trial, winning by more than one minute on the 22-kilometer course.聽
