Proposed agreements ratified by 3 SEU Units

We are pleased to announce that the proposed agreements to SEU: Facilities Management - Student Housing Services - Dining Services - Faculty Club, Printing Services and Data Centre employees were ratified by membership in General Assemblies over several days and completed on April 22.

The current agreement expired on November 7, 2021. The new agreement will come into effect upon signature by the parties and will expire on April 3, 2027.

The parties will finalize and sign the texts of the new agreements and share the detailed terms with the community in the coming weeks.

Tentative Agreement Reached with 3 SEU Units

We are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement was reached on April 4th between 9I制作厂免费 and three bargaining units represented by SEU: Facilities Management - Student Housing Services - Dining Services - Faculty Club, Printing Services and Data Centre. The Union will soon invite its membership to general assemblies to vote on the proposed new collective agreements. We will share the results of the votes which should be completed at the latest on April 22.

SEU Trades & Powerhouse - Downtown and Macdonald Campus

We are pleased to announce that all three units of the Service Employees Union (SEU) have voted in favour of the proposed new collective agreement. Following the vote last week by the Downtown Campus Trades Bargaining Unit, the Trades and Powerhouse employees of the Macdonald campus and Downtown Powerhouse employees represented by SEU completed their vote on June 15.

The current agreement expired on May 31, 2019. The new agreement will come into effect upon signature by the parties and will expire on May 31, 2025.

Negotiation update: SEU Trades & Powerhouse - Downtown and Macdonald Campus

Members of the Downtown Campus Trades Bargaining Unit of the Service Employees Union met on June 8 and voted in favour of the proposed new collective agreement. This new agreement replaces the agreement that expired on May 31, 2019 and will expire on May 31, 2025. General Assemblies for the ratification of the agreement by the remaining two units 鈥� Downtown Powerhouse and Trades & Powerhouse Macdonald 鈥� will be held on June 13 and 15 respectively. An announcement will then be issued to share the final results of these negotiations.

Global Agreement Reached with 3 SEU groups

9I制作厂免费 has agreed on all aspects of new collective agreements with three bargaining units represented by SEU: Trades (Downtown Campus); Powerhouse (Downtown Campus); Trades & Powerhouse (Macdonald Campus). The Union will soon invite its membership to general assemblies to vote on the proposed new collective agreements. The parties have agreed not to communicate the contents of the agreements until the votes has taken place.

Two more SEU units approve new collective agreements

Members of the Service Employees鈥� Union (SEU) Local 800 (FTQ) from 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 Printing Services and Data Centre voted in favour of new collective agreements at general assemblies held respectively on October 4 and 5, 2016. The unions, which represent some 10听employees, and the University had reached tentative agreements in May 2016. These new agreements will be in effect for five years from the day they are signed.

Members of SEU unit approve new collective agreement

Members of the Service Employees鈥� Union (SEU) Local 800 (FTQ) from 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 Facilities Management, Student Housing Services, Dining Services and the Faculty Club voted in favour of a proposed new collective agreement at a general assembly held on September 24, 2016. The union, which represents some 350 employees, and the University had reached a tentative agreement in May 2016. This new agreement will be in effect for five years from the day it is signed.

Two other SEU units (Printing Services and Data Centre) will submit new collective agreements to their membership shortly.
