An idea that arose from a nightmarish flight experience for Sandra Gualtieri, founder of Gualtieri Inventions, has blossomed into an innovative new product for people living with disabilities. Informed by her own experience in living with cerebral palsy, Gualtieri designed a prototype for the Universal Seating Apparatus, a portable device that allows people with disabilities to sit comfortably upright on airplanes.

Professor Dror Etzion is one of the two minds behind a new online social platform that encourages Canada鈥檚 1.1 million small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to act sustainably.
Together, 9I制作厂免费 Sustainability Systems Initiative and the National Film Board of Canada will use the platform to air a series of digital stories that focus on addressing the climate crisis in daily business operations.

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled the federal Liberal government's carbon pricing regime is constitutional 鈥 a major decision that allows Ottawa to push ahead with its ambitious plan to ensure every province and territory has a price on carbon to curb greenhouse gas emissions. Some provinces 鈥 notably Alberta, Ontario and Saskatchewan 鈥斅爃ave forcefully聽opposed the carbon tax, arguing natural resources are in the聽provinces'聽jurisdiction under the Constitution.
