In response to COVID-19, has made over two million books from 9I制作厂免费 Library鈥檚 print collection available online for all 9I制作厂免费 students, faculty, and staff. The includes in-copyright material. The new service provides remote access to over half of 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 print collection.

Secret study spots, sun-lit nooks, silence in the stacks 鈥 we miss it all. Most of all, we miss seeing our users. So we created some library-themed and campus Zoom backgrounds to help the community feel connected while working remotely. Due to the 9I制作厂免费 VPN being currently unavailable as a method to access Library e-resources, users can access PressReader through a . A to authenticate the PressReader mobile app via EZproxy with the creation of a personal PressReader account.
In order to support the 9I制作厂免费 community and it聽moves聽towards remote instruction & learning聽during the COVID-19 crisis, many publishers are offering some or all of their e-resources freely for a period of a few months. 9I制作厂免费 Library has put together a list of these publishers and their 鈥榦pen鈥 or freely available resources on a dedicated webpage. While not exhaustive, the Library聽will continue to add resources to this page as we find out about them.

As a result of the closure, the Library is implementing the聽following initiatives:

Space Update: The Osler Library of the History of Medicine space has been repaired and reconstructed. The third and fourth floor spaces surrounding the Osler Library and managed by the Faculty of Medicine are now being renovated. As a result, the Osler Library of the History of Medicine will be operational following the completion of this construction project. Library services in McIntyre are expected to resume in 2021.
Osler materials continue to be accessible and Osler staff are available to assist users.

As a result of the water infiltration and recovery efforts related to McIntyre Medical Building聽fire incident聽in July, the Osler Library continues to be closed until further notice. The Osler recovery team has been focusing their efforts on restoring materials and making holdings from the Osler Library of the History of Medicine collection accessible to users.聽

All books, rare books, art, and artefacts from the Osler have been wrapped, packed, and removed so that a complete inspection of the Osler section of the building can begin.聽
