Montreal Tree Pit Project
The public trees in the City of Montreal provide numerous benefits and are valued at over $650 million. Urban trees face challenges such as poor soil conditions, drought, and street salt. This project measured conditions in tree pits and resulted in improved soil and better tree pit design for tree health.聽
