Students may take three or, exceptionally, six credits at another Quebec university while paying tuition to 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ without having to formally register at the other university; see Quebec Inter-University Transfer Agreement. Students in Satisfactory Standing apply for IUT on the . If approved, the student is responsible for applying to and following the requirements and deadlines of the host university. Upon successful completion of the course(s) (minimum grade of C), the credits will be recognized by 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ as pass/fail toward the student's degree. The grade received at the host institution will not appear on the student's 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ transcript and will therefore not have an impact on the student's GPA. Students seeking to take a required course as IUT must ensure that the course is deemed equivalent. Under the IUT agreement, grades are automatically sent from the other Quebec University to 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ. Note that failed grades at the host university are recorded as failures on the 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ transcript.
Students wishing to take a course at another educational institution outside of Quebec must apply for Study Away on Minerva (students who wish to take university courses within Quebec apply for IUT, see above).
