TIE Lab presented their research at the ISCOS 2019 conference in Nice, France
Nov 5-7, 2019, the 58th International Spinal Cord Society Annual Scientific Meeting (ISCOS 2019) was hosted in Nice, France. TIE lab co-director, Dr. Sweet and PhD student Zhiyang Shi presented their peer mentorship research on behalf of the community-university partnership team.听They also had a chance to exchange听ideas with researchers and health professionals from different countries. Well done, TIE lab.

Oct 17-19, 2019, the Canadian Society for Psychomotor Learning and Sport Psychology (SCAPPS) annual conference was held听in Vancouver, British Columbia. TIE lab members presented their work at the conference and enjoyed the time there. Shannon听and Laura听had great oral presentations. Natasha, Emilie, and Zhiyang all did a great job听presenting听their听own posters. TIE lab undergrad听students, Kaila听and Meaghan, had amazing poster presentations as well.

October 2nd, 2019, TIE lab director听Dr. Shane Sweet gave a talk on the SSHRC Spinal Cord Injury Peer Mentorship Research Program at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital (JRH), Laval. He听talked听about the work听his team has done and exchanged ideas with the hospital staff听from the JRH.听

April 11-13, 2019,听the 12th Annual听Canadian Respiratory Conference was hosted听in听Ottawa, Ontario. TIE lab member听Emilie presented her research poster titled "Perceived difficulty and confidence of participation in movement-related activities for individuals living with COPD" at this conference.

Oct 18-20, 2018, the Canadian Society for Psychomotor Learning and Sport Psychology (SCAPPS) annual conference was held听in Toronto, Ontario. TIE lab members showed up as a cohesive crew and enjoyed their time at the听conference. Shannon听and Meredith听both had amazing听oral presentations. Bradley, Laura, Fran莽ois, Emilie, and Zhiyang all presented their听own posters. New graduate students, Erin and Natasha, obtained growth from attending the听conference.听
