The Prix Opus was created in 1996 by the Conseil qu茅b茅cois de la musique (CQM) to highlight the excellence, vitality, and diversity of Qu茅bec鈥檚 thriving music scene and to celebrate artists within the community. Minister of Education, Bernard Drainville, and Minister of Higher Education, Pascale D茅ry, inducted the 25 new members of the Ordre de l'excellence en 茅ducation at an official ceremony at the National Assembly on May 29th recognizing these new inductees for their contribution to education.

Karine Auclair, professor in the Department of Chemistry, is the 2023 recipient for the from the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC).听
